Took Badger to Tiknock this morning, first time ever, yet not too bad on strava - between 14 and ~80 place on most uphill segments :D Good badger.

Wet offroad descend (to Stepaside) was scary on slicks.

Another few shots of the Lough Tay area from earlier on in the week. Still haven't seen as much of this area as I'd like so planning on heading up again on Saturday if anyone's interested in joining.

View from the carpark at Howth summit. Not usually one for taking photos but it was just stunning at 07:30 this morning. Not a cloud in the sky or a whisper of wind and glorious silence (broken only by my panting! :o).

    :D:D:D

    2 reasons:

    1. The G500 has let me down occasionally showing 'No new activities' when I go to upload a ride. Bit of a bummer especially after a long ride - I 'lost' a 200km ride recently :( and on another ride with 2,900 metres of climbing the 500 showed nothing afterwards but thankfully I had the 200 that day also. :) So I sometimes use the 200 as a back up especially when abroad.

    2. The G500 just gives current elevation whereas the 200 gives accumulated elevation during the ride - handy when in mountainous terrain. Perhaps the 500 can also be tweaked to give this but I can't be arsed finding out.

Totally. Out for a spin this evening with none, because mine is moonlighting as a fridge thermometer. True story. No cyclist should have two odos while some have none!

More jealous of the location, mind you...

A few from yesterday up Jebel Akhdar, it nearly killed me. It was my first big spin (2hrs and steep is huge for me) in 9 months. Lack of O2 and major headache were more of an issue then newly sewn together tendons. I have a pic of me and the bike however with the bib showing through the top I look more like Geoff Capes than a cyclist.

Oman is the one Arabian Peninsula country that really pull me as a holiday/cycling destination. Would be keen to see more photos and here more of your experience.

that's easily done via the settings menu as a field you can view.

Cycled the full length of the Dingle Peninsula, from Castlemaine to Clogher, 137km round trip. Some spectacular scenery,

Remove the tags from around the tags. There's an opening () and closing tag ([/URL]) for both links.

Cheers, I was panicking someone saw the picture of me sucking in the tummy and failing.

Straatvark, it's a grand spot for cycling in winter. Allot of long climbs with beautiful scenery. I was up there at the weekend with a capetonian

Not great weather for the first major climb on our Hospice trip from San Sebastián to Barcelona. This is at the monastery of St Miguel at the top of El Hachueta, a climb that has featured in the Vuelta a few times.

    Excuse the wonky horizons.

Dublin - Maynooth, stop off in a cafe called Atlas Unit 1 and back.

Matcha cake with coconut from the Wild Flour Bakery. Probably the best mid-ride snack. Ever.
