That saddle looks comedically high :pac:

Not the first person to say so! Bit harsh, I reckon; it's well-within "tolerance" for a standard seat post. What can I tell you, long legs... (And too tight to spring for a new bike a size or so bigger, at least not until I can cycle-to-work-scheme it.)

It just looks a bit weird as the saddle is higher than the handlebars by a good bit.

I'd feel like I would fall over the handle bars if I cycled like that.

Didn't mean to be insulting, if that's how you took it, though.

Very artsy! ... what are we looking at?

Part of the Zip It zip wire park in the Pine Forrest at the top of Cruagh Road. Looks great fun and very popular this morning.

A wee spin back in Sligo this morning which turned into a longer than expected ride due to a slow puncture in the rear.
Didn't matter however as once the showers passed it turned into a beautiful day and stopping to pump the tyre meant I could look around and enjoy myself more than I might otherwise have.
Despite there having been a race here yesterday most parts of the trails were again covered by the falling leaves; looking forward to the wonderful colours that autumn brings to our woodlands.

Looking towards Knocknarea, Strandhill and Ballisodare Bay.

Froggy went a courting but stopped to sun himself on the trail; lucky not to have been run over, also lucky that my trail mate had picked up the scent of deer otherwise he'd have been on the menu.

Lovely day for a spin. Stopped at the Blue Light for a spot of lunch along the way. Had a puncture shortly before stopping... but nothing was going to bring me down on a day like this!

While the Sally gap looks and feels like being on a different planet in the bad weather, its a local road for local people, nothing foreign there :)

Please don't see it as that. (I'm always worried about that and will tone down any time if it is a general feeling)

Primary reason I still hang around here is the fact that I miss Ireland so much. I cant get here what you have there - and it is pretty special! I liked to get reminded of cool places I rode in. (or pity that I never had the fitness, time or money for the other)

Secondary reason is to market/invite people this way. Which probably are kind of show off, but honestly being done with the best intentions.

I love all the shots from farther afield; good for giving inspiration for future destination as well as being great pics in and of themselves.
