I love all the shots from farther afield; good for giving inspiration for future destination as well as being great pics in and of themselves.

Please don't see it as that. (I'm always worried about that and will tone down any time if it is a general feeling)

Primary reason I still hang around here is the fact that I miss Ireland so much. I cant get here what you have there - and it is pretty special! I liked to get reminded of cool places I rode in. (or pity that I never had the fitness, time or money for the other)

Secondary reason is to market/invite people this way. Which probably are kind of show off, but honestly being done with the best intentions.

Sorry I wasn't clear with my post as it was more so directed at myself and how envious I was of the lads getting in a bit of cycling abroad.

The photos have been class throughout the thread, whether they've been taken in Munster, Leinster, South Africa or the Alps.

Maybe we just need to arrive one morning at Straavarks house or VeloPelotons house, you know, helmet in hand, ill-fitting cycling gear... "What do you mean you never invited me to stay as long as I wanted free of charge? But I've brought the bike and everything.... all this way...."

Nah, I love your pictures of South Africa. If I had the means I would certainly go!

So glad you didn't! I've got more use out of it the last 2 months than I did the previous 9 or so.

    Sally Gap on Sunday.

I've reduced the picture size, but on the original, the signs for Glencree are badly shot-up. Isn't that where the peace and reconciliation centre is

Show that to any surfer and they'll ask you the same question. The waves are coming in at a nice angle :D Good pointbreak potential.

Wexford does have miles and miles of fantastic sandy beaches (both east and west of Kilmore), but never seems to attract many surfers. Lots of fishing and kayaking. That was an extremely windy day, but even so the waves stay very small :)

If I get out this weekend I'll stop by Strandhill Co. Sligo on the spin and show ye all some proper waves!
