That's the promenade in Bray. There is a nice cycle lane that people like to walk in on the right of the image, right next to the road.

Tough 100km cycle to Stradbally on Saturday from Dublin. Theres a great shop in Ballymore Eustace to park the bike, have a coffee and dry your socks by the stove if any of you are out that way. J340wKx.jpg

Yea I have family living down there and I was picking up a car. Showered, few sambos and drove back up.

We were at 93.5km when we hit the village so heading down along the EP site to make it the even 100km.

Ballyhoura bike trail I'm not sure if it's the same? I also went a bit off track and ended up near the wind farms they're currently building and got a bit of a telling off :p

It's a great setup down there but I can see there being issues with lads going off track.

The fitness route they have down there is a great setup.

Spotted what appears to be a drydock up at Boharnabreena this afternoon. Now quite what someone would need one of those for up the top of the Dodder is another question.

Making the most of the autumn days & shortening evenings.

This is my regular commute to and from work.

This is Baldoyle estuary with views of Howth Head and Irelands Eye island.

A couple from a few days ago. First time up Kippure on the bike and it's wasn't too bad. The worst section near the top briefly touched 16% but most of it was 7% or less. Admittedly conditions were perfect with no wind and about 12 degrees and I can imagine it being horrific at times. Pity the road surface isn't a bit better as it could be a fun descent otherwise.

Spin up around the Nire Valley. Great spot if you're ever passing and a fair bit of climbing but decent fire roads to make climbing a bit easier.

Did you see many deer? It's alive with them at moment

I'll pm some of the routes that give access to the better single tracks if you want, although with all the harvesting sections are in ****e atm.

Although Carey's Castle side, where Clonmel MTB club have developed tracks is made for that bike. You'll find them on facebook/strava, sound bunch anytime I've ran into them

Launched out of shot off the dropper post :D

First real spin back since crashing and dislocating my shoulder. The jumping is on the back burner ;)

I couldn't believe the number of deer up there. I heard there were plenty of goats but deer around every bend.

If you have some routes handy they'd be appreciated. I hadn't a clue where I was going but I knew I was getting further away from where I vaguely remembered parking the jeep.

I'll check out clonmel mtb. I'm not down there often but I'll be sure to stop off whenever I can. I parked up at Glenanore and just headed up the hill. Unbelievable place for mtb. I tried a few old looking tracks but kept on ending up lost.

Probably best place to park if trying to access Carey's Castle area, which has so really good tracks.

By Glenanore you probably mean Knockalisheen which is here
    https://goo.gl/hFHmKY

Good place to enter, but you need to climb quite a bit for any decent tracks.
I'll pm you a few spins I did and join strava club with Clonmel lads to see where they go

That's the spot up that lane about 200m you hit a coilte gate. I'd love to live in the house on the lane what a spot although probably freezing in winter.

The good people of Knockalisheen are entirely convinced it's God's country!!

The cottage reached by this bridge, is in a truly magic location.

The field on right used to be (over 50 years ago) local GAA field, only deer run there now. I played an exhibition game there in 1993!!!
