Military Road today - on the way to Sally Gap. I didn't quite make it - had a near miss just after I took these and so decided to turn off at Glencree. Nice day though - lovely and quiet on the roads......

I believe these photographs are multiple images stitched into one panoramic photograph.

    Nice.

    Icey up there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 922 ✭✭✭monkeyslayer

Not really, some patches here and there and the pine needles are all frozen together, but fine. But anywhere where water runs over the road is bad. Real bad.

Views from the summit of Mt Hamilton, California last Sunday. More than 1200m of climbing to get there.

Eeny, meeny, miny, mo, which way off the mountain to go? Not exactly the most stunning views from the sally gap today.

    192463.jpg

Wimped out and took the lazy way home. Not sure if I took the descent especially easy because I couldn't see anything, or my fingers had gone numb.
