It's a bit awkward. I emailed the photos to my pc then saved them to photobucket and embedded the photobucket link as an image.

Might stick some photos up here of a bit of cycling and photo taking from around trim and surrounding areas during summer last year, have to find the camera first.. Some excellent photos going up guys. epic stuff..

Easier way - there's a free photobucket app. Sign up and you can post to there from your phone and use the URL to post images here.

This is why I have gotten into cycling, you would drive past these places and never stop to look.

Few hours ago.. 10 minutes after that picture there was rain, then hail and then more rain. Hail really hurts at 50km/h.

    And an interesting sighting..

Christ, what would bring you to the Wet Place over SA ? You're mad !!!!

As for the Argus, nope, unfortunately my work here is finished next week, must try and time it better next year :(

Some bloody hills you guys have here, combined with that wind, its pretty challenging ... especially when my spins start on Kloof Nek Rd ! ;)

there is a test section here
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=361

i will try and post a link that someone gave me that really helped
keep at it because its really worth it
    good luck

    Upload your picture to Tinypic.com
It will give you a URL, just copy the URL and paste it here(have to thank bitemybanger for that advice)
after a few tries it worked for me

    yeah calisto.
never seemed like that in a car. i came from kells out past ballinlough and turned onto the r154. i never would have been able for that on the old bike. i was doing between 6 and 8 kmph on the way up and freewheeled at 60 on the way back down.:)

Next time try going straight on (see link) past the turn for the climb and take next left (signposted Loughcrew Cairns). Twice as steep!!http://maps.google.ie/maps?saddr=Unknown+road&daddr=Unknown+road&hl=en&ll=53.743026,-7.114334&spn=0.057563,0.169086&sll=53.743026,-7.114334&sspn=0.007195,0.021136&geocode=FUAQNAMdav2T_w%3BFQATNAMdRGCT_w&mra=me&mrsp=1,0&sz=16&t=m&z=13

Re: Calistro's post and the 8 wonder of fore.
I was up there recently. Anyone know why the tree in the background is decorated with all kinds of personal belongings from multi coloured socks to women's bras?

I think it is one of 7 Wonders - The Tree That Will Not Burn - apparently pilgrims used to attach copper coins to it, hence it would not burn. Nowadays people leave items of clothing signifying an ailment in the hope it will be cured, so bra's might = breast cancer - scarf = throat cancer or other - glove/sock = hand/foot arthritis and so on. Was thinking of putting my cycling shorts up there to see if it would cure my weak legs!!:D
