I've heard it called Mad Mary's as well. If it's the same place I'm thinking of. But perhaps that's the confusion. :)

Could well be called Mad Mary's....I'm not up on the local lore!

It's at the intersection of the R476 where you can go either turn right up to the Dolmen and onto Ballyvaughan or continue straight on into Kilfenora if that helps.

Here you go but it doesn't mention "Mad Mary".

I've just heard it called that from visiting the area.

Terrible shot considering the location but just delighted to be back on my (new) bike after what feels like an eternity. Proper pics to follow in my build thread.

In your post above you can see a link to your uploaded file. You can just copy this link/URL, edit your post, and stick that URL between the IMG tags (use the "Insert Image" button if you don't know the proper syntax for IMG tags) and the picture will display within your post.

You can do all this while creating your post too by uploading your files and using the "Preview Post" button to view the image links/URLs which you then add into your post before hitting "Submit Reply".

That has a certain ring to it. Mad Mary's is just so clunky.

Not so much a photo taken while cycling but, the garage burnt down this morning, a few bikes destroyed. I'm a bit sad. They do make kinda cool photos though.

    Kilmashogue Lane this morning.
Shame I couldn't grab the phone out (was busy trying not to set the brakes on fire) for the two deer that were running in front of me when going back down.

I really love cycling out here. Sometimes I can barely believe I'm still in Dublin. This is a few km past Balscadden right on the border with Meath.

Great weather, great scenery, horrible luck. Four punctures in four hours.
