Took shelter from the hailstone at the back of Dublin Airport today. When it stopped I discovered I had a puncture  I'm on one of those rolls at the moment, getting a lot of punctures.

Some snaps around Mt. Leinster over the past few weeks, some early mornings, and late nights and a random angry sheep road block.

I check pressure before every cycle, I think it's just bad luck at the moment. Might be due a new set of tyre's, done about 6,000km on the current set.

Some photos from the Netherlands. In terms of scenery and gradient it's not a patch on the old sod but they make up for it in infrastructure and the general attitude towards cycling.

How do I reduce the size of a picture?

  • Registered Users Posts: 238 ✭✭dermur

I think you'll have to do it before you upload - most software packages (including microsoft paint) have a "resize" option on their menu.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭nomdeboardie

An option if you have or make a Flickr account and host them there you can view different stock sizes: double click on uploaded photo --> View All Sizes --> choose desired size --> right click on it for Properties --> copy url --> use in the Insert Image tool

Drifting is actually an early celtic-christian tradition, honouring the Virgin Mary. This is what Coomakiste looks like without howling wind and cloud two feet off the ground!

Some fantastic shots there langdang, cycled along there myself last year but it was getting dark and I didn't see any of that! Heading back next weekend anyway, really hoping this promised good weather will arrive!

Headed up to the mast at the top of Kippure today for the first time, also the first time being up the Wicklow mountains on my road bike. Was crying out for my hybrid ratios by the time I got near the top! Not much to see unfortunately, was way up in the clouds.

Rode up to Col d'Aubisque for lunch today. These two lads were stoped for a quick snack. Jelle Vanedert and Jurgen Van Der Brocek.
