Quick spin down the valley this morning, I caught the tail end of Le Mondovelo passing Saint-Savin.

This lad was trying hard, the broom was about 10 minutes behind. Hope he makes it.

On the other hand, these two seem unnecessarily happy about their situation. It's 12:25, they have completed 85km in 05:25, still have 110km with 3000m of climbing to go, the Col du Tourmalet is right in front of them and the Broom Wagon was 10 minutes behind. Will they make it to Luchon in time? I don't think so.

Anybody know what jersey that is with the coloured bubbles on it? Looking to buy the girlfriend a jersey as a present and think she'd love it.

Heh, she asked me where she would get one of those lovely polka-dot jerseys. My response was, "You don't". Hence looking for a colourful alternative.

Edit: $135 after shipping and tax for the Jelly Belly number!

There's what might well be a manufacturer's logo on the top left side of that jersey, perhaps the photographer (velopeloton) might be able to make it out on what I'm presuming is the much higher resolution original photo?

    Check Ebay,cycling jersey,balloons.
They're fairly good quality but small fitting.
