I recognise that last pic, my Dad would drive that road to get to the golf club, but only when the tide was out !!

    Eh, what road?

Lovely photos. Is the 3rd in Kenure? And where is that tree? The 6th also has me beat! You have a nice commute.

Its the road from the Malahide side of the estuary and brings you out at Kilcrea

Yeah, but I don't see any road! Unless you drive along the foreshore and hope you don't get stuck in the sand with an incoming tide:eek:.

And do you mean the Donabate side of the estuary or am I completely bonkers?

The Donabate/Swords side. It's strange that the road surface remains fairly intact despite being covered with sea water for half its life.

It's not my normal commute - I added a few scenic diversions.

3rd is Portrane. The very large tree is in Donabate. 6th is Lissenhall Green (or Estuary Road) Swords.

The most obscure picture there is the second one. A Blue Peter badge to anyone who gets it. :)

(Those who know my real name will probably be doing a STRAVA search! :D)

Spot on. :) The road is now closed and even when open it was a cul de sac so very few would have gone under it.

Just returned home from a week in Achill...Could not have been luckier with the weather. It's an amazing place, so much to do every day.

Unfortunately my camera broke early on, so I only have 2 half-way decent photos for ye. Unfortunately, they come from the one and only day that it pissed rain all day. Does not do the place justice at all - I think I've been pretty much everywhere in the country now and I think it's the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Especially in such rare, fog-free weather like me and my mates had. Happy out :D

Mt Taranaki in the distance, cloud hat and all

One of the more fun sections of the walkway, wavy bit of path, great fun when empty and you have the hammer down.
