Not exactly the same theme as the rest in the thread I know, but we spent about four hours shooting pictures on the trail in the sweltering heat this summer, look at that sky it was unreal, far cry from that now!

First group ride to montessori where I trusted the little nipper to go the right way, not career into traffic, not need carrying/bike carried.

Fantastic feeling off on the bikes together. Now just need to work on the average speed and get off the footpad...

Top of the wee (huge to me) climb up towards castlewarden/ardclough village before bombing down the hill towards the village. Was so nice out this evening and not a bit cold.

Sunrise from hill above An Spideal yesterday. Photo doesn't do it justice I'm afraid.
    277891.jpg

Inishfree, Lough Gill earlier in the week. Lovely spin around lake and onwards to Strandhill for lunch.
    277892.jpg

Looking south from Knocknarea on that same spin. Ox Mountains(?) visible, unlike day before when Ladies Brae was enveloped in a drenching mist and drizzle.

In Lanzarote for a few days break, rented a bike and too off sightseeing, bloody windy and this road was straight into it,

    The Koo Valley.
    2013-10-25%252014.18.54.jpg

Loads of fruit orchards hidden between the little mountains. (The name 'KOO' is used as one of the biggest SA canned fruit brands today)

1st time on the road bike in 10 months, last ridden in Ireland. Fought the bike for two days in the rain, then on the third day - La Volupte :D

Up Mount Leinster today. As tough as the climb was, that "deposit" to the left of the bike is not mine:D

Yep that's the spot. sorry should have included that in the post. It wasn't too windy. I was about 40k in at that stage. Struggled for the next 110k tbh.
