looks like you rode it south to north denbatt? i prefer it the other way so you descend the switchbacks.

Could slideshow bob tell us where the first image 'Bog road between and Cashla' was captured. There is a bog road linking the Clifden - Ballyconneelly road to Toombeola outside Clifden.
Yes it's that one - getting my Cashlas and Cashels confused unfortunately.

I need to increase my water bottle size for refills

A wine cellar on the Bottelary Road, a very convenient training route between Stellenbosch & the CT Northern Suburbs. (Bottelary = bottling plant, after all the wine cellars in the area)

Night spin around the city last night with a buddy who said we should go up Patricks hill, this was the view towards the Shandon Bells.

Even the tunnel was nice :)

then it kinda went down hill and head over heels.

I hit a very hard to see speed bump, flipped over frontward and landed directly on my head and rolled onto my shoulder and back.
Bike ended in the ditch (without any major damage) and I ended up on the road with quite a lot of major damage.
6 hours in hospital and a shedload of pills was the result. Helmet cracked all over and pretty impacted on top.

swollen face, black eyes, shoulder torn open and really swollen back of neck and shoulders. they don't think I got concussion though so prob not that 'major',
enough to get 40 tabs of codine though, good times ahead.

Well obviously you're not going to be allowed back on the bike today. My advice is to rest tomorrow as well. You can start back with hill intervals on Tuesday.
You're certain the bike is ok?

Get well soon; don't remember tarata direction having speed bumps, did that happen near Inglewood?

Get well soon and back on your bike, but I'm sure Boardsies are also hanging on eagerly for the fate of your lime/green. Would you recommend it for encounters with speed bumps? Did if survive unscathed? If it didn't will you be organising the next order?:D

Short ride from home to Lac d'Estaing, it's a 15km climb gaining 600m. it was 4c leaving home and -3c at the top. Had 4 layers for going up and 6 for coming down. Toastie.
