Has been restored (again) recently and is due to open to the public later this year. Not sure how much will be accessible.

No impact that I can see but I'm not a regular user of Union Wood & surrounding trails so I could be wrong, I prefer more XC biased trails.

I saw that earlier on my way home (in the car

). Around 6pm. I thought it was a mist but thought it unusual given the weather. Maybe someone is burning heather off the bog. This was common place 20 years ago but nowadays turf cutting is very restricted so maybe the smoke is something else.....?

I'm stuck in the desert but flying home tomorrow (I hate flying), and all these pics are making me yearn for a spin in a nice cool temperature. The picture from Cratloe Co. Clare helping get on the plane, wish I could thank it twice.
