124km today @ average 23.0 on the dot. Home to Sally Gap to Lackan/Ballyknockan to Wicklow Gap to Laragh to Sally Gap to home. Stopped for ice-cream at the viewpoint and a pint at the Merry Ploughboy on the way home, was some day for it!

Modest effort today even by my own very modest standard, but here's a sunsetty shot of a bridge over the River Bride that I have an unfortunate habit of cycling over when it's someplace between "dim" and "pitch dark":

And here's a cat! Doubtless looking for Easter bunnies to eat.

And a horse, for no topical reason whatsoever.

Cheers. Bought mine when I was living in the states. Love it.

The only criticism I had was the stock oval concepts wheels, which I replaced.

Climbed to the top of the Dartry mountains from Glencar side today, and went along Dooneens Walk, hit 62km/h on the descent back down and burned out my brakes, some great pics though.

I rode up Mt Lemmon outside Tucson on one and loved it-if I had room (and could get the OH to understand the N+1 rule) I would have brought one home.

My brother subsequently bought a Gran Fondo with Di2 and he loves it..Very strange that more shops don't stock them as they are very good value in the US, particularly with the exchange rate at the moment..

Mount Lemmon looks like a beast of a climb. Disgusted I never got down to it. I was in Phoenix for a year and a half. It was always in the plans but got long fingered too much!

The Gran Fondo is a nice looking bike as well, a bit more relaxed than the Altamira I think.

Somebody tipped me off that this trail had been built in a forest near me. After a few hours searching I finally found it this evening. Bone dry and super fast

It was a great day out-Long unrelenting climb but smooth as a billiard table..Tucson was a great trip full stop-didn't spend too long in Phoenix but Tucson is a fantastic town.

The Gran Fondo that I rode was a bit too big for me, but it is a very sloping frame-very comfortable for long rides if you get one to fit-I might pop into that place on Mary St for a mooch during the week:cool:
