3D movies rip-off...

    The production methods for 3D cinema are more expensive than regular cinema,
    I don't know, in the digital age it's harder to justify these kind of equipment cost hand me downs. While they're technically working with double the footage there are tools that make these things easier. I'd say the equipment and added work wouldn't add anything like a euro onto the cost for the end user.

    It's simply a matter of people are willing to pay for it, I'd say once the novelty has worn off 3D films will cost the same as normal film.

    i guess people should think twice about the price of 3D cinema prices before spreading their legs.

    I don't object to the price of 3D movies, what I object to is film makers reducing the content quality of films because it's in 3D. Whilst Avatar was a visually spectacular movie the story line can only be described as tired - I've seen Ferngully thanks !
