Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Darragh O'Conaill won Silver in the Purple belt middleweight division and won the Purple Belt Absolute! Great news for Irish BJJ and for Monkstown's busiest BJJ academy.

Darragh has to be Ireland's most active BJJ competitor at this stage, great to see him taking home more silverware!

Adriana Gibadulinova took gold in the white belt light/middleweight division!!

Paddy Carmody took home silver in the Brown belt middlweight division and gold in the absolute!!

Big congrats to everyone that took home a medal and everyone that competed, i heard there was some questionable refereeing in a couple of matches that put a halt to some of the other irish contingent.

    OSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Michael Russell gold light heavy black, silver absolute. With his father from Clare and a supporter of the Irish soccer team over the English team I think we have enough to call him Irish. He wouldn't disagree either

Who was the other contingent , who entered? Win or Loose fair play in representing lads.

    Good point Liam,

Joey Breslin won his first match by bow and arrow choke and was unlucky in his second match, he took his opponent down but the ref didnt score it and he lost by advnatages via a frustrating 50/50 guard.

    WOOP BRESLINHO!!!!!

chris bowe got stung in his match aswell, ref didn't give points for a back take with both hooks in.. rough call.
