Just wondering does anyone know of any restaurants in Dublin that do eating challenges? Looking for somewhere that does something like "Finish this 3lb burger / steak and eat for free".

I ask because I've been to the new counter burger on suffolk street, eaten their 1lb burger, a load of side orders and then went home and had 2 chicken breasts. I feel I'm ready for a challenge :D

Deadly. Going to sort out a date and I'll post results.

My stomach capacity exceeds my will, so this is going to be fun.

Youtube "furiouspete"..the bloke can kill a 72 oz steak in six minutes!

The problem is that your jaw gets tired from all the chewing..you cant have it cooked more than medium rare or it'll be too tough and you'll wear yourself out.

The biggest steak i ever ate was 32 ozs which was no problem but twice that is a serious amount of meat!

Mizzonis on Fenian Street had an offer going for a while, not sure if it's still on!.. eat their "Wagonwheel" Pizza (20inches ) plus 4 toppings in their takeway under an hour and you get the pizza for free! I've been meaning to call in and give it a shot..:D
