Taking Alcohol Abroad

Hi all, Can anyone tell me what are the regulations re taking alcohol abroad ? Sister-in-law is heading to Poland on Aer Lingus tomorrow and wants to bring 4 bottles of booze. This is not dutyfree I'm on about. The stuff will be in the luggage. Thanks for any replies, in advance.

i'e brought 3 bottles of wine to hungary before in my luggage with no problems just make sure its wrapped up well

Poland is within the eu, no restrictions on alcohol for personal use.

if the alcohol was bought within eu, so basicly no limits for own usage, if you can proof that taxes are paid etc.. 10 l limit is the sc. guidelimit.
