    Hi all

    When buying an older property do you make an offer first or do you get the survey done first ?

    whats the norm ? thanks

    thanks a mill. Thats what I thought but someone else reckoned if they knew of any works needed they could go in with even less .

    I thought they should just go in with less anyway :)

    Offer then survey then much lower offer then say your not sure then wait

    You'll easily save 50 grand

    All offers are subject to survey, and is not binding. If the survey shows up that work needs to be done, not factored into your offer, then go back with a lower offer.
