Download on PC and then install it by USB stick, it'll be quicker

Does anyone know what could cause an error "80010038" when installing LBP, it's making a new folder were it should be installed called "Unknown" and in it there's a file saying "corrupted data".

I tried installing when I was signed in, then signed out.

Redownload again. Corrupt download, it seems.

Can I change my location on an existing account so as to appear to be living in America and get Super Stardust HD? I don't want any of the free games available in the EU but it's only pre-existing accounts that can get free games and my two accounts are Ireland and the UK.

I can't sign into my Irish account on my PSP for some reason, it keeps saying "you cannot sign in using another user's account id (email address)". I signed out of my other account and still no joy. I never had this problem before, can't figure it out.
Edit: never mind, I figured it out. just needed to delete the other account first. :rolleyes:

I was having issues earlier but managed to download Streets of Rage 2 after a few attempts. I magine the PSN is getting hammered atm.

It's been down for maintenance every now and then, but it worked for me this morning around 10 o clock. Keep trying at random times and you're bound to hit it at an online period, hopefully it'll be back to normal in a few days when the server pressure eases off.

Are you using a PSP? I had the exact same problem this morning, but if you go to account management, press triangle and delete account (it just removes the account from the PSP), and sign in again, it should work.

Not using a PSP, just trying to sign in the regular way through the PS3. I dunno what's up.. I've only got the one PSN account and e-mail address so there's no way I'm using the incorrect sign-in details..

Hmm, there must be a conflict between accounts, but it's weird since you have one account. Maybe a friend of yours signed in using his account and it's set to sign in automatically, preventing your ability to sign in? If that's the case, you need to go to the Users section on the left, log out, then log into your profile and sign in at the PlayStation Network part on the right of the menu.

Thanks.. it's fine now. I'm signed in and downloading Wipeout HD

I'd say there was just some sort of delay in updating my password after I changed it.

If anyone's having problems changing their passwords on the PSN, you can also change it on the Qriocity site - http://www.qriocity.com/ie/en/

It is all fixed, there's just millions of people trying to download half a dozen gig worth of files from their servers.

This is not working for me. When i try and get into the services list, it just gives and error message.

I've logged out and back in, and still no luck.

Any ideas?

Keep trying, the error you're getting is just because the store is overloaded. I got that error a couple of times too.
