Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm honestly not too sure what the difference is at this point apart from some recent Radio 4 stuff but the schedule is gold dust. RTE radio One can only dream of this quality of programming.

    Some stuff this week
Hordes of the Things (Lord of the Rings parody) is on tomorrow at 17.00,

    Wednesday
18.00 The Very World of Milton Jones
    19:30 Hancock's Half Hour

    Thurdsay
    09:30 Just a Minute
23:30 Children's Hour with Armstrong and Miller

    Friday
15:00 Alan Bennett - An Englishman Abroad (play)
23:30 Lenin of the Rovers Midfield-maestro Ricky Lenin's battle for Britain's first communist football team.

    Saturday
22:00 Robert Newman - Apocalypso Now
Robert Newman entertains an audience at London's Tricycle Theatre, Kilburn.

I enjoy listening to BBC Radio 7. I discovered it via satellite recently, it's like radio heaven. I hadn't heard that Radio 7 is going. Is it being replaced with Radio 4 Extra?

That would appear to be what's happening, yes.

yeah, there was a piece about this on Broadcasting House last week - I'd say it'll be good. I like the "Archers Extra" concept - BBC7 was good but I think it was ignored largely. This is an effort to rebrand - still 7 at its core, but with a few new goodies from 4.

From what I've heard, it seems that several of the Radio7 presenters are absent from Radio4extra... most notably Michaela Saunders...more budget cutbacks perhaps?
