    Worth trying a few:

    Spy bot search and destroy
    http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html
    kaspersky virus removal tool
    http://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/devbuilds/AVPTool/
    kaspersky TDSS killer
    http://support.kaspersky.com/downloads/utils/tdsskiller.exe

Did you try them in Safe mode? Can you confirm that the name of the virus is "Win 7 Malware" and not "Win 7 Antimalware"?

    You could try http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/malware-removal.aspx.

Or try a system restore to a date when your computer was not infected.

What do you mean? Did you get into 'Safe Mode with Networking' at all?

Removal instructions for Win 7 Home Security are here

Afterwards it might be worth repeating the process in 'Safe Mode with Networking'

yeah i got into safe mode with networking and ran malwarebytes but it didnt do anything.
i seem to have gotten rid of it though, i just repeatedly ran rkill (about 10 times or so) until i was happy that enough processes were stopped and then ran spybot 3/4 times and its showing up clean. ill do the same in safemode now just to be sure :) ty lads

Do you mean that it didn't detect anything or that it didn't run at all? In 'Safe Mode with Networking' and after running rkill : download Malwarebytes, install it, update it and then run a full scan.
