    Fascinating stuff, he actually calls the raid one of retribution which indicates just what the RAF personnel actually thought of the bombing.

    Also interesting that he mentioned seeing a single engined fighter amongst the bomber stream. This was most likely a plane from JG300 who mostly used day fighters without radar to attack bombers, using the searchlight beams to pick them out, a pretty insane task since they often got shot to piece with flak splinters along with the bombers.
