Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Law - Assessment for Mature Students

    Hi all,

So I applied to Law in UCC as a mature student through the CAO, and a couple weeks ago I got a letter in the mail informing me to attend an assessment on the 7th, on campus in UCC.

According to the UCC Law faculty website, the test will examine your "Aptitude for legal study and likelihood of successful completion of the course".

Has anyone done this test before? If so, what kind of questions do you think I could expect? I'd like to be a little bit more prepared for this than I currently feel...

    Thanks!

    Hey OP,

Sorry I didn't respond to this before the test itself.

I also sat the exam, and found it went quite well. How about you?

From previous advice I was told you can't really be to prepared for the exam, but a very basic legal knowledge and able to form a logical argument is ideally what they look for.
