If someone is already with the ESB for electricity and wants to get the new rates and also switch to getting gas from the ESB will that be easy to do? They are ready to pay by direct debit with online billing. They are also in receipt of a free electricity allowance, does this make a difference?

Also is there a minimum contract term with these new prices or can they switch without notice?

From what I can gather ther is no problem with any of this. But phone them rather than go on-line when there is the FEA on the account.

As Srameen advised above, where the Free Electricity Allowance is concerned it's best to speak directly to our Sales team on 1850 30 50 90. You could also email them.

Are the same savings available to people getting the free electricity allowance? Why is the switch not available online for those customers?

Ok so are the same savings available to free allowance customers? I dont think anyone has given a direct answer to this important question, skirting around it saying it is best to ring up and it should be no problem is not a proper answer!
