Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

liquid milk will be paid on a&B-c from now on-it will work out about 4cent higher than manufact over the course of the year- i think it will be stagered intro at first but you have the option to opt in 100% if you wish

Could you explain the A&b-c and what it means?

dont see why liquid milk should be based on a+b-c, when a consumer buys a can of milk they dont look at protein and butterfat do they????, so are they going to pay on this, are they going to use milk for manfacturing?? or is it a way of getting around to paying a lower price than current liquid milk prices, ie will a farmers milk cheque drop for the same amount of milk?? with all the liquid milk flowing from north to south and milk in the south flowing mostly out of the country it really is strange. Local liquid milk processor down here is under pressure from the own brand of milk and will be for a long time unless something big can make consumers switch back

for years we have bred for volume ... was at fmp meeting last night, this seems to be the end for liquid milk although the new pricing will be in place for a few years... the milk statements are going to be very hard to follow with different pricing for different things... there will be bonuses for milk above 3.3% protein and 3.6 % bf
