    Hi,

I'm a 24 year old female planning on moving to London. I am a qualified primary teacher but would like a change of career. My borther lives there already and has told me that the wage primary teachers in London receive is quite low in comparison to Ireand and would be tough to enjoy the city life properly on that...maybe some might disagree!...but I would like to do something different...however I don't know what else I could do...I have a degree in french and English also and some experience in media eg. Radio work, written journailism....any advice would be really appreciated!

If you have an idea of what you want to do and you have some relevant experience/education in that field, get in contact with some recruitment agencies like hays speciliast recruitment or have a look on reed.co.uk to give you an idea of some of the jobs out there.

does it really really have to be london? you could get a job in towns about an hour outside fairly handy, there seemed to be a gaggle of irish teachers arriving in kent last year.
the living costs are much lower too.

With French as a language you'll walk into a job.
