Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey there,

Is there any way to use two laptops wirelessly as a make do PA system. I want to "stream" live video, or even just audio, from one laptop to another. Is there a way of doing this and if there is, is it possible for the techno lay man.

I hope I've explained that well enough to understand.

    Cheers.

Skype? You can share your screen with that.

I think you could do that with VLC. I tried it on a LAN once, just for video, but I'm sure it would be happy with audio too, might be less laggy with audio only.

    edit: Here's a howto link

And VNC server and client allow you to control one computer from the other. Which also delivers full screen viewing but its suitability would depend on your final use of it.
