Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey folks, i hate asking but i just sold my sigma 10-20mm to fund a canon 5D classic and happy enough to use my 50mm f1.8 on it till end of the month till i get something wider. But i just got offered a gig in club photography in town and i need something a bit wider than the 50mm.
The gig is on this saturday.
Anything would do as long as its a bit wider than the 50mm as i will be using flash a lot.
    cheers. Jim.

I'd loan you my lens but it's the only one I have.

You could rent one from conn's maybe? They have a good range of loaners and aren't all that expensive (if your gig is paying) - I know they have a 17-40L that they rent out that would be more than wide enough.

50mm is lovely for gigs though.

Cheers Promac. The first gig isnt paying as its a trial gig but if goes well it will be paying. Might just rent a 17-40mm anyway as its a lens i will be considering for landscape shots.
