Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there. Last night my laptop underwent such a meltdown that all I can do is basically laugh at the seismic scale of data I have just lost. As such, I have pretty much lost all software on my machine and have been recommended by the lovely Dell guys to reinstall everything.

Given that I am currently in the process of missing a massive deadline as a result of all this, I would really appreciate it if somebody could recommend the fastest and most reliable way of getting Microsoft Office back on to my puter. Cheapest would help too please.

I am based in Limerick so I'm guessing some kind of Maplins type place

It's not just for students, dirt cheap legitimate copies of Microsoft Office.

No affiliation by the way but I have used them. If you are in college then you might have luck with your computer centre - there may be an arrangement for free copies. Or you could use the CD Key you used originally if you had one.

You could also install Libre Office? It's fully compatible with MS Office file formats.
