While McIlroy's round is fantastic his playing partner Fowler deserves a lot of credit too. 2 over through 13 and finishes 2 under after birdies on 14,15,16 and 18.

Fowler is a very good player, his performance in the Ryder Cup singles will always be with me. A major will come his way soon and it could happen this week.

It's not really Sky's fault they weren't shown any golf about an hour ago... The Masters only allows a certain amount of coverage on Thursday and friday. Used to be that the beeb could only start at 930 on Thursdays win they had it...(first time I ever defended sky)
