It's the annual May 5K @ Courtwood in County Laois.
Starting at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday 29th May from the local GAA grounds the event will offer a lovely scenic walk or run over 5K along a beautiful canal side route.
The event will be suitable for all levels of walkers, joggers and runners. We have also scheduled the race to be on a week before the womens mini-marathon so you can use it as a warm up race.
All times will be recorded and posted on our Facebook page and www.courtwood.laois.gaa.ie within 24 hours.
The start and finish will offer toilets and changing facilities and there is loads of parking.
Top class hospitality guaranteed after the race with tea/coffee/sandwiches for all.
Prizes in all categories will be presented immediately after the run and the local family fun day will follow for the afternoon so it's an ideal opportunity to get out for a bit of exercise early in the day and then enjoy the atmosphere for the rest of the day.
Ring Damien on 085 7881916 or Pat on 087 6894108 for more details.

Tenner to enter according to the facebook page. Any ideas on what the story with registeration is, can it be done online?

Sorry I missed those posts folks. Online entry on runireland.com is closed since yesterday. Sorry about that but anyone who still fancies stretching the legs tomorrow morning is more than welcome along.

    Registration from 10 a.m. onwards.

It's just a tenner to enter and there's €100 for the first male and female home, and €50 for second and third male and female.
