Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Would appreciate a bit of advice in how to set up a reasonably secure and safe home network backup for our home.

    Hardware:
    1 macbook pro, 1 macbook (with a windows 7 partition), 1 ipad
    External storage
Seagate external hard drive (500gb), WD passport external hard drive (250gb) and a Netgear Stora
    Standard CISCO UPC wireless router

I bought the Stora a few months ago and I hate it. I find the browser interface cumbersome and messy.

What I would like is a network drive that would show up like an external drive on the desktop. That files could be transferred to and from it via copy and paste. That the ipad can stream music and video from. And that backup can be done wirelessly.

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced (around 200 max) product that can do all of that?

    Thanks a million,
    Quad
