Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I hope this is in the right place, if not please feel free to move/delete this post.

For the last few years my folks were considering getting added insulation in our house, we eventually did it last week and needless to say our attic was a mess, we eventually cleared everything from it including our old computers.

This is what I found: Amstrad, Amiga, an old PC, Sega Mega Drive, SNES, Panasonic 3DO and a N64. Everything is intact and in pretty good nick including loads of games, as we took care of them when they were in use and when we put them away we packed and covered them up.

I set up the 3DO, N64 and Sega, which all worked perfectly, I don’t know about the others though as I didn’t have the time to set them up.

So, what I’m wondering is what I should do with them:
Is there a market for them?
Would a local charity take them?
Ideally I would like to move them all on in one go, any suggestions would be appreciated.

As much as id like to say.. give them all to me!! They are worth money! sell them on adverts, check out the prices of things on there already or that have sold already. I think the 3do will be worth a good bit.

Might I suggest you create an post on adverts.ie and put the link in this thread?
Alternatively if you simply want to see them go to a good home I can move this thread to Arcade & Retro Trading forum.

    Thanks,

A 3DO you say, Hmm I'm always on the look out for another 3DO.

Stick em up on Adverts or in the trade section here and they will go fairly fast.

7 3DO's is enough, Steve. Let someone else have a chance. :pac:

What's with all the 3D0s if you don't mind me asking? Are you just really really really afraid of them breaking down?

I have multiples, but it's more to do with something popping up for cheap and me not being able to resist. Expensive consoles on the other hand, I'll happily stick to one of each!

I was only joking, I have enough 3DO's, maybe :D

I just like collecting these things and have a particular fondness for the 3DO, amongst other things. I actually have a 3DO to put up on the trade section at some stage myself.

I'm just a bit of a mad collector really, like a lot of people here.

When I see retro I forget I'm not wealthy ;)

Indeed I do, blaster and the drive. Was talking about it in the general section a while back.

Such a pity its an ISA card and not a PCI.
