Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hard Drive Partitions - Remove

Ok my head hurts, i've being searching here and google but I'm still none the wiser.

Basiclly, my laptop has died, removed the hard drives and I am trying to move important data from one of them to my new laptop.

It's a 80gb hd which I have connected to my new laptop via a sata docking station but the problem is that it is only showing 32gb.

I have downloaded Partition Wizzard and can see via that there is 3 partitions, two 32gb and 1 10gb ( doesn't add up, no idea why ).

Can anyone please help to recover that very important data that is on the other 32gb, either by using Partition Wizzard ( afraid to use it in case I delete something ) or by another means?

Try booting from a Linux Live CD like Ubuntu. It should pick up everything and you can copy your data then from the external drive to the new computer.

Ok in the process of getting this sorted, I downloaded a piece of spftware called Mini tool power data recovery and using the damaged partition recovery tool, I am able to access the files and save then onto to another hard drive.
