Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have to say, that was a quality show from Strikeforce. Thoroughly enjoyed all the fights apart from the farce of the draw between Mousasi and Jardine. Even with the point deduction Mousasi, he was completely dominant over Jardine.

Main event was fantastic. 5 mins of brilliant action with so many momentum changes.

Melendez was awesome. Ridiculously fast hands. Brilliant performance from him.

Guys how would you have scored the round in the mian event if Daley wasn't finished?

Say Daley succeeded in pushing him away and nothing much happened after that.

Would be a close call. Diaz controlled it but Daley floored him twice.

Would really love to see Diaz and GSP. Would love to see what GSP's gameplan would be against the nutter.

WTF was Daley doing pulling the trigger on that kick after 38seconds, if it had connected Diaz would no doubt have been out cold and Daley DSQ'd

I reckoned he purposely threw the kick at the body, which is legal right? Like the knees in Pierre-Serra 2?

If I remember correctly that was indeed a legal kick.

How would score a round 29-29?? Do you mean 9-9 or 10-10 or what??

Isn't there a ten point must scoring system, so the round can't be deemed a draw unless there is a point deduction.

You can have a draw in a ten point must system, even without a deduction.

Yeah sorry, your dead right actually. 10-10 can be scored for an even round alright.

    I don't think you can score a 10-10 ?

    He means
    10-8
    9-10
    9-10

It's a good example of one. Too close to call, both have knockdowns, both do ground and pound, no real winner in clinch. I would have said Diaz 10-9 very slightly on his following up on his knockdown at the end and slightly on his strikes, seemed to do more with them.

No, as Jayo and Clive correctly pointed out, there can indeed be a 10-10 round.

Also seeing as the discussion was in the coxtext of scoring a one round fight I dont think he meant 10-8, 9-10, 9-10...

    Oops. I meant 9-9

In my defence, I'm a fookin' idiot.

You can draw a round 10-10.
    For real.
