    Just listening to an excellent blues album by James Cotton and was thinking how about a recommended album thread?

    Listening to a couple of Freddie Robinson albums at the moment.

    'At the Drive In' (1972) A mostly instrumental, up-tempo, just nearly into funk one.

    'Off the Cuff' (1973) Slower, more soulful and bluesy.

    no prob, personally i recomend anything with davy knowles playing guitar on, one of the best players i've heard in years

    also give this guy a listen as well

    A rather predictable choice I'd imagine but "The Ballad Of John Henry" by Joe Bonamassa is absolutely ace.
