    Stephen Fry's opinion on swearing:

I think its a pretty funny video. I don't swear that much, but I develop quite the potty mouth when watching rugby. I annoys me when people use swear words almost like a crutch.

F**k is the greatest bridge-word ever. I find I have to say it in every sentence while I think of what the actual next word I want to use is.

Seriously though I would like to tone it down a bit. I rarely swear aggressively but I use the f-word a lot and very casually and being a teacher it's a bit dodgy. Like it hasn't been a problem but it's slipped out a couple of times and I'm not happy about it. The saving grace is that the kids are Korean and with low level English and don't appear to have picked up on it when dropped so casually into a sentence. I do also agree that I don't like being around people who don't swear or don't like swearing. I work with a couple of Americans and I get really annoyed by their politically correct sensibilities.

I am shocked to read that an educated professional cannot express himself without using the f-word. If you take the typical foul mouthed Irish male and remove the f-word - what's left? Not a lot!
