Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apoligies with this if its in the wrong forum,

I am looking a bit of help, I'm trying to get a Neuson 701s skid steer started,
rented one this afternoon and it was delivered out at evening, and I cant get it started, I have used a mustang on a couple of occasions and no problems

    Seat belt on
    Safety bar Down
    Foot break off
    parking switch disengaged...

    turn key.. clickclickclickclick

    Engine doesnt turn at all.

Has anyone got a neuson or have hired them before or am I missing something, at this rate it will be still sitting on the drive awaiting collection monday morning and no hours on clock but money out of my pocket..

sounds like a relay is gone, hire co's problem.
if you realy need to get it going, try jumping it or crossing the starter, but i wouldnt do this unless you know what you are doing

It could be a loose connection on the battery/starter. Is there any corrision on the battery terminals? if there is disconnect the leads, clean it off with sandpaper.

Try jump starting it with jump leads from a car.

As already said hire company problem, but you might want to use it over the weekend and they won't answer the phone till Monday.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
