Any decent gaming conventions on around Europe?

My nephew would love me to bring him to Blizzcon but that's a little far away so I'm wondering are there any decent events to attend in Europe?

GamesCom in Cologne is meant to be Europe's answer to E3.

There's also the Eurogamer Expo in England, and GAME are meant to be running one in the UK this year.

I only heard of these this year when I went searching for them, so I'm going to give GamesCom and Eurogamer Expo a go

Gamescom is brilliant but huge and lots of standing in line. But if you get there early you can get around to a lot of the stalls.
