Moved to Arizona last Monday. Got my Arizona driving license Friday. Applied for Concealed Carry permit yesterday, will take the course next Saturday. Should be approved within 14 days. In the meantime, I can present my driving license, take an instant background check and buy any rifle, shotgun or handgun on the premises…

After some research I found out the following:

Generally a CCW permit is not required in Az.

It IS required in some circumstances sucah as, but not limited to:

1. Concealed carry in a restaurant ;
2. Concealed carry in a bar;
3. Concealed carry in a National Park (under federal law, cc in a national park is only allowed while in possession of a ccw permit for that state in which the national park is located.
