The Youtube channel will go live at 01.00 Tuesday morning until 01.00 Wednesday morning in Ireland.

the producer of the film also produced the Movie's : In the shadow of the moon, Moonwalk One, and MoonMachines.

i applied for an advance copy after Slade_X posted a link in the STS thread,at first i got an automated registration email, but i have since had a personal reply which i thought was a really nice touch.

There is no party on the clickable map in any part of Ireland, but there are in Scotland,England and Wales as well as showings on twelve Giant screens.

the personal email reply asked me to spread the word by Social media,so i hope anybody reading will make sure their friends or clubs are aware of the free sceenings,it is not a lot of them to ask!:).

    About Me:
Welcome to First Orbit - a free film shot entirely on board the International Space Station to recreate the original first orbit of Vostok 1 - carrying the first spaceman in history - Yuri Gagarin.

above is from the Youtube channel at this link were the Global Premiere will be shown on a loop.

much more detail here from the firstorbit.org link that slade_X posted.

April 12th - Yuri Gargarin was the first man in space.
    Only 50 years!
When you think of what has happened since then - Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Mir, Skylab, Shuttle, Buran, ISS, China's Shenzhou.

And of course Hubble, Giotto, Pioneer, and Voyager etc. Some of our greatest missions have not been manned.

In all the talk about Gagarins flight 50 years ago today don't forget that today is also the 30th anniversary of the first Space Shuttle launch. Columbia on STS-1, April 12 1981. John Young and Robert Crippen took to the skies on that sunny Sunday morning from Florida on what was the 20th anniversary of Gagarins flight. I remember this day so well. I was 13 and had read about the build up for over a year as the launch was delayed time and again. It came very close two days earlier on April 10 only to be delayed a few minutes before launch. Finally on April 12 all went to plan and Columbia became the first Space Shuttle to reach space. So began a 30 year obsession for me:)

It's a pity Columbia was delayed because then Yuri could be celebrated without interference from shuttle obsessives, "Oh the humanity". :)

    You tell him Cu Giobach!!!!!

He even inserted the STS-1 launch into the last launch of a Soyuz,a thread he started himself!

all the anti-virus software recognise's him as a virus and gives a warning!:pac:

i was going to report him to the 'Spammer notification thread'

i was going to report him to a Mod,in the end i reported him to Mrs Beeker!(hubba hubba) She will be sending him to bed early with NO TV or X-Box.

You have to feel a pity on him as he is not quite 'of this World' :pac:
