Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I recently wiped my computer and started afresh as it was freezing and performing very badly. now its operating perfectly but i was looking at a couple of fre anti-virus programmes(eg. avg, avast) and was wondering if anyone could advise me which would be best to go for. its a work computer and is used for a bit of web browsing/downloading, and my invoice programme. im using windows vista.
also when i restarted my computer i was given a list of internet browsers to choose from... ive always used internet explorer but have heard firefox may be a little bit safer, any thoughs on this??

    tom

You'll find a million opinions on this but here's mine:
    Google Chrome Browser

    and
    Microsoft Security Essentials Antivirus

    im using windows vista.

    There's your problem! :pac:

I think browser is all about personal preference anyways. I mean you can install ad block extensions for both Firefox and Chrome and the WOT extension is handy too (Web Of Trust).

Personally I'd recommend MSE for anti-virus. But there's a poll going on over here.

MSE in the lead with Avast second.

    We all have our favourites.
Firefox (lots of nice addons) I trust it more than internet explorer and it does not seem to crash as often.

    Avast free for me.

Iron browser is the best for security ,privacy ,its similar to chrome but sends no info to google, and it has extensions too.
Its wise to install the latest internet explorer browser too for security reasons ,even if you rarely use it.
    Google iron browser download.
get the latest firefox version ,its safer than ie ,also f0xit pdf reader is safer than adobe reader,
which has been used to hack into pcs, install malware.
