Hi, a relative is selling a house in Dublin and he's looking for a solicitor who will charge a flat rate for handling the sale, either that or a very reasonable solicitor. Preferably Dublin but any names welcome... Thanks :)

If you're selling in West Dublin, I can recommend Niall O'Brien in Lucan Ph 6219450.
I used him last Sept selling my house and have to say that I found him very helpful, friendly and professional.
His rates were very good too (can;t remember exactly but I called a few places and he was the best price)
Having used a number of different solicitors for different things over the last few years-he was far and above the best
He charges a fee + vat and then the tile search and related bits added about €250.
    Would def use him again.
    Hope that helps

    You should check out www.thegoodagent.ie

Looks like they're trying to aim for the flat fee market. No experience with them I'm afraid though (never owned a house!) so can't really comment on them.

That look like more for letting/selling that legal stuff, but thanks anyway, it's an interesting site :)

    Hi,

Talk to John Gleeson at www.accesslegal.ie. They've based themselves online to reduce costs, but still have all of the qualifications. I know they have a conveyancing specialist working in there. It will cost about €900-€950 ex. VAT.

    Regards,
    Barry

ps Thanks for the recommendation spottyelephant. We are all about fixed fees and that's why we use the AccessLegal guys.
