Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any local shops selling Feiyue or Warrior shoes?

Does anyone know if there are shops in/near Dublin (or online shops within Ireland) that sell Feiyue or Warrior kung-fu shoes? I've found them for sale on Amazon UK, but shipping prices are a little high...And would prefer to keep the money local...

How about a pair of Chuck Taylors, Addidas Superstars, Addidas Sambas, Puma Classic, or pretty much anything by Gola, and maybe Vans. I find the Gola wear out a bit quick, but if you only use them on wooden floors they should be good.

Also if you go to Dunne's, you can pick up what are basically Chuck Taylors without the branding for something like €8.

Thanks for the tips. I'm specifically looking for these brands because of the lack of padding and flexible sole. I'm essentially after a poor-man's Vibram Five Fingers, and these (and other similar martial-arts shoes) seem to be the shoe of choice if you need a pair of cheap nearly-barefoot shoes. :)

I've never heard of Warrior shoes, but the Feiyue are basically a trendier version of Chuck Taylors. Can't argue with the price though, even with shipping they're probably going to work out creeper.

Anyway, despite their reputation, there's nothing magic about the Feiyue. They're just retro trainers, take a look around and you may find something else that will do just as good a job.
