Raw tonight comes from the Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The advertised dark match main event is John Cena & Randy Orton vs. WWE Champion The Miz & CM Punk.

So which pairing is getting the No Holds Barred and which one is getting the No DQ match at Extreme Rules?

I really dont want to see Cena V Miz again but who else can face Miz for the title? HHH or Morrison perhaps

id imagine Punk vs Orton will be finished at this PPV as it was one of the bright points from mania they might look to repeat especially given how the feud could fit the PPV. Meanwhile considering Cena/Miz's mania match and how that ended they would probably be likely to give it one more go to try and get it right before starting any new feuds imo.

HHH or Morrison vs The Miz would need time to be built and imo the one Vs Morrison would be kept to a bigger PPV especially if they had any plan to push him big. Him vs Miz makes sense as a big match yet also allowing what the WWE percieve as their stars have another marque match. Miz vs Morrison at Summerslam for example would make sense while Taker vs HHH could have their WM rematch and the Rock could interfere in whatever Cena match occured that night, maybe him vs CM Punk cos that feud had a lot more life left in it imo.

sources (my brother) say sheamus was in the Dublin area today so don't expect to see him on raw. If he is my sources will certainly look foolish

Sheamus is indeed in Dublin. He was in Tower Records so he won't be on Raw.

I can't wait to boo Cena and cheer Miz on Friday!
