Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Internet explorer problem with Boards.ie

I dont know if its me or Boards.ie but I think its me..

When I log on to Boards lets say the Motors forum every thread I see is from last night. If I refresh the page I see the latest threads. Now if I click on a thread that I viewed yesterday no recent posts will appear and I must refresh the page again to see recent posts.

I hope this sounds clear..:) I also have the same problem logging on to AIB online. When I click on personal log in a new page opens but the circle thing keeps spinning around and the page never loads. All this has happened recently and its driving me mad...

I am using Windows vista with IE explorer 9.

This is happening again with Boards. I went in to F12 again and reset everything but its still doing it again.

I have tried to download IE explorer 8 but it wont let me. Im thinking of wiping everything and starting again.

Many Thumbs up for Firefox as an alternative to IE. Safari is also popular but I personally prefer FF. Latest version of FF is 4 but 3 actually has an easier to use layout.

Safari popular in Windows? install Firefox mate.

Also, check your firewall if not blocking Boards, AIB.

Opera browser is nice too; it also includes email and torrent clients.

Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are your best options.

Is your Firefox security preferences default? cookies enabled?

Do you get any errors in Computer Management > Event viewer > ?
