Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Living with a Busa

Since the Blackbird has gone to the big highway in the sky, I've very much leaning toward replacing it with an early Busa.

Just wondering if there's anything in particular I need to be concerned about? I intend to pick up a good, low mileage example of a '00 ish bike. I'm going to see one at the weekend. Just wondering if I have to worry about valve clearances, any crucial service intervals, tyre/ C&S cost etc etc

From somebody I knew with a zzr1400, that type of bike can eat back tyres if your happy with the throttle.

Had one for 3 very happy (expensive) years. They really are a hoot but can get you into trouble very fast indeed, but i'm sure as a previous Blackbird owner you know all about speed ;). Upgrade the brake lines to braided and the pads because the original Busa brakes are actually made of cheese.:)
