Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was running 20 updates over the last hour and when finished got the msg that the following (about 5) updates did not install in bold letters.

I did copy them but after reboot clipboard has been cleared.

Is this normal and nowt to worry about cos maybe my system doesn't need them?

If it were me, I'd try going to the MS site, and through the Security>Microsoft Update, see if there are still outstanding updates, and try to install them from there. You might have to use IE to use that function though.

Failing that, google the KB #, download the patch, and try it that way. If that fails to work, see if others are having trouble applying the patches for a solution.

There seems to have been a large number of updates in the past couple of days, so if there are issues, it might take a couple more before there are solid solutions though.

Some updates will need a reboot before being able to install others.

As the poster above said, click Start - All Programs - Windows Update and it will load up the update site in IE.
