There will be more than 40 places. I just went on a quick scout for last years posts and that's what I saw. I'll have numbers at some stage soon.

Nope not yet. Plenty of time to do some scouting. Major selling points will be price, print quality and flexibility to help lodge money into the SSF account.

No worries people. I'll compile a list of who declared their interest.

At the minute I'm contacting various publishers to see who can give us a good deal. I'm aiming to see how many people we can get into the book without each individual needing to break the bank to buy their book. Speaking of money etc, I'm just posting this to make sure people know that by including your name and submitting a photograph, you agree to buy at least 1 copy of the book. Also this year, once the deadline passes for pic submissions, there will be another deadline for people to pay for their book in advance. Once your photo is submitted, there's no changing it. You have a long deadline so plenty of time to shortlist your candidates.

What about condition the picture submission by the charity donation of €5? Donate to charity, submit picture, pay for the book. And because we know how much will be the donation, it could be gathered in advance when meeting the people. At least most of them.
(I think I got lost a bit in the grammar of the first sentence...)

I'm looking into getting the publishers to handle the money altogether. We have plenty of time to sort it out so there's no panic. I just put the post up to give any newcomers an idea of what is expected of them.
